From Water into Wine

In the second chapter of John’s gospel, we learn of Jesus transforming water into wine at the wedding feast at Cana. He took what was ordinary and made it extraordinary. In a similar way, young adults are challenged by God’s transformative grace to become like fine wine to serve in the world and Church and imitate Christ in an extraordinary way.

In From Water into Wine we will use the medium of wine making, tasting with food pairings, storytelling and faith-sharing, and focused scripture reflections and prayer to explore relevant theological and faith themes.

Directed by Miguel Chavez

Miguel is the Director of the Office of Missionary Discipleship for the Diocese of Cleveland. Previously he served as Associate Vice President for Mission Implementation at Walsh University in North Canton.

He received his MA in Theology in 2007 and MBA with a concentration in Management in 2013 from Walsh University. He is a proud husband and father of 4 young children.
